What to do if the electric fan capacitor fails

Electric fans are common items in our daily life. There are capacitors inside the fans, so what are the common faults of electric fans? How should we deal with it?
1. The part of the fan shaft must ensure that there is lubricating oil, otherwise the fan blade will be dragged by the motor on it. If you are at home, you can choose to turn off the power, and then move the fan blades. If the rotation is stiff, there is basically no lubricating oil.
2. Wear and tear caused by long-term use. If the fan is used for a long time, the motor will wear out, and the motor shaft sleeve is easy to burn out after being worn out.
3. The fan does not rotate due to overheating. There is a motor in the fan unit and there will be an overheating circuit breaker in the motor. If there is a short circuit at the coil winding, the heat generation will increase in a short time, so the motor will go on strike.
4. The starting capacitor of the fan becomes smaller. When the fan is used for a long time, the capacitance will decrease, resulting in a decrease in the starting torque of the motor, and the load cannot be driven.
5. The reason why the fan blades do not rotate is often a problem of poor maintenance. If the fan blades rotate stiffly by hand after the power is turned off, some lubricating oil should be dripped into the rotating shaft to make it lubricate, so as not to affect the motor to drag the fan blades.
6. For the worn fan blades that do not rotate, the easiest thing is to replace the parts, especially the shaft sleeves, which are easy to burn out if worn.
7. If the capacitance of the fan becomes smaller and the fan does not rotate, you can remove the capacitor and replace it with a new one of the same type. It is recommended to choose a capacitor that is 20% larger than the original capacitor, and the rotation effect will be better.
8. If the axial clearance of the rotating shaft is too large, you can choose to adjust the shim after disassembling the motor. However, when installing the motor, please note that the rotor must be concentric with the bearing, slowly tighten the lubricating screws diagonally, and finally hit the shaft with wood to ensure concentricity.
Electric fan, referred to as electric fan, also known as fan and fan, is a household appliance that uses a motor to drive the fan blades to rotate to accelerate air circulation, and is mainly used for cooling and circulating air. Widely used in homes, offices, shops, hospitals and hotels.
The fan is mainly composed of a fan head, blades, grille and control device. The fan head includes a motor, front and rear end covers and an oscillating air supply mechanism. The main component of an electric fan is an AC motor. Its working principle is that the energized coil is forced to rotate in a magnetic field. Electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy. At the same time, some electrical energy is bound to be converted to heat due to coil resistance.
Common household electric fans are essentially axial flow fans, that is, the flow direction of the wind is parallel to the rotation axis of the fan blades.
